The game between Top Four teams took place in Limpopo. Second ranked host Pride (3-1) defeated 3rd placed MBB (2-2) 58-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MBB. It was a great evening for Khomanani Makamu who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Joe Langan (, college: Dutchess CC) helped adding 15 points and 8 rebounds. Thabo Sithole responded with 21 points and 5 steals (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). L.Pride maintains second place with 3-1 record behind leader M.Rhinos. MBB at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
BNL top team - Rhinos (4-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked Warriors (0-4) in Bloemfontein 77-64. It was a quality performance for forward Joshua Tawengwa (192) who led the winners and scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. Vusi Sibeko accounted for 15 points and 15 rebounds. Vusimuzi Sithole came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for FS Warriors in the defeat. Warriors' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rhinos have a solid series of four victories in a row. M.Rhinos maintains first place with 4-0 record, which they share with KZ Marlins. FS Warriors at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
